Some pics of the hanger as it is just about done! A 12 * 50 ‘ loft with a workshop underneath is planed for the aft end, still leaving a 58 *50 ‘ hanger. With the cubby , pitts, and RV there is still room for a few more without hassels.

and I have been working on the 8, Cubby, learning the Pitts, and building a hanger. It has been very busy ! The 8 should have originally flown this summer but life can throw some curve balls at you that sets things in perspective. She will fly in the spring and hopefully be fully painted on the maiden flight.
The hanger is being built at CYSH and will hopefully be done in about 3 weeks. It is a 50 * 70 by 14.5 high with a max opening bi fold on the front. It will hold the Cubby, 8, Pitts, and a buddies Nanchang without to much protest. Invest in hangers!!! It is not even finished yet and people have been calling to inquire about some rental space inside.
I still hate fiberglass and wonder why I decided to glass all the tips on with 1.0 oz cloth and then fill and sand for hours with more to go
Here are a couple of updated pictures to browse….
Back to work on the fiberglass parts of the 8, namely tail tips and canopy strips. Baffeling still continues
Been busy flying the Cubby also
It will be done when it’s done, probably on a Friday!
